Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh on Friday said he would quit politics if the allegations levelled against him with regard to seeking the Congress party's support to form the government in Delhi is proved correct.

"Any video or audio sting with me in it is released and is true then I will quit politics," Singh told the media here.

"Media should report things after clarifying the news. The Congress is making a fool out of you and you are letting them," he added.

Meanwhile, AAP leader Kumar Vishwas mocked the sting operation.

"The stings they talk about now are like a 70's horror movie's villain who people laugh at now," said Vishwas.

"I think some people have been assigned the job of putting allegations on AAP by their party," he added.

Former Congress legislator Asif Mohammad Khan had earlier alleged that the AAP leaders met him several times and also talked over the phone to persuade him to join the party.
