Will only hold talks with 'true' farmers: Maha CM Fadnavis

Reiterating his promises to farmer leaders, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday made it clear that he was ready to hold discussions with true farmers and farmer leaders but would not talk to those who want to do politics in the name of farmers' strike. 

Speaking to media persons after a program at Sahyadri Guest House, Fadnavis said that he has assured to take a decision by October 31'st on loan waiver for the marginal farmers with small landholding up to five acres. He said that he would fulfil all the promises including loan waiver for small farmers. Maha CM said that he held discussions with farmer leaders before announcing loan waiver and was even today ready to hold talks with any of the farmer leaders. In the same breath, Fadnavis said that but he would not talk to those who jjust want to play politics in the name of strike.
