Fresh from the Araria bypoll victory, Tejashwi Yadav has now become the new poster boy of Bihar politics.

While many are keen to know what is Lalu Prasad’s son plan for 2019 General Elections, there are some who are much interested in his personal life.

It seems after Congress president Rahul Gandhi, the media is curious about wedding plans of Bihar’s ‘most eligible bachelor.’

Not to shy away, Yadav also spoke candidly about the topic recently. According to latest media reports, when the reporters asked him about his wedding plans, he simply said that he has left this with his parents to find him a girl.

He also revealed that he would marry only after his ‘elder brothers in politics.’ They are Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan’s son Chirag Paswan, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar and his Tejashwi’s own brother Tej Pratap.

He once received 44,000 proposals on WhatsApp. His mother and former Bihar CM Rabri Devi once famously said that she would only marry her sons to traditional girls. “Hamey cinema hall aur mall jane wali ladki nahi chahiye. Ghar chalaane wali, bade buzurg ka aadar karne wali, waisi ladki chahiye. (I don’t want cinema hall and mall-going girl. We want someone who can manage the house and respect the elders).

On the political level, Yadav today blamed Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for recent Bhagalpur violence.

Yadav also criticised the Bihar Chief Minister for taking decisions in a coward manner. "We blame Bihar Chief Minister more than we blame the BJP for this incident. For any violence, whether it is in Araria, Bhagalpur or Darbhanga, the guilty is Nitish Kumar only. Nitish Kumar takes cowardly decisions," the RJD leader said on Wednesday.

On March 19, a First Information Report (FIR) was registered against Union Minister Ashwini Choubey's son Arijit Shashwat for allegedly inciting violence in Bhagalpur.
