Filmmaker Aneisha Sharma, the wife of Saradha chit fund scam accused Sadananda Gogoi, has expressed desire to make a film on the infamous Rs 2,500 crore fraud.

Sharma, whose film 'A Dream Never Dies' opened the non-feature film section of Indian Panorama at the ongoing International Film Festival of India here, said that her film on Saradha chit fund scam will chronicle how soft targets like her husband are allegedly trapped. "There is a need to focus on the story through a movie so that the people know the actual thing. You can see such kind of stories in fiction feature films, but here it has happened in real. Here it can be seen how a soft target can be trapped," said the 'Depth of Love' helmer.

The screenplay for 'A Dream Never Dies' is written by Aneisha's husband, who is behind bars now in connection with the scam. Gogoi was arrested in September this year by CBI on allegations of "conspiracy and misappropriation of funds." "My husband is a soft target and his arrest was a political trap," she alleged.

"He is one creative person and so many people are praying for him. The creativity is never going to die. Creativity will go on. If God is there, then justice will be done. He (Sadananda) would have loved to be here (at IFFI)," she said.

Aneisha's movie screened at IFFI is about families who suffer because of the insurgency problem in eastern India.

She said that she got to know about the subject while counselling 30 families in an insurgency-prone area.
