Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev on Saturday criticised Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, saying on the one hand he advocates for corruption free politics but has taken Congress party's support, on the other.

Addressing a news conference, Ramdev said that Kejriwal is answerable to people as to why is he with the Congress party.

"If he really wants to end the VVIP culture and wants to do politics in favour of the country, he should tell people why he is with Congress Party and not with Narendra Modi. The Congress party has looted this country more than Mughals and the British in the last 1000 years. Why the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party have joined hands together?" asked Ramdev.

Ramdev added that if Kejriwal wants to ensure corrupt-free nation, he should put former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit, behind bars.

"Now he is asking for proof against Sheila Dikshit, from people to file a case. But when he already filed a First Information Report (FIR) of 500 pages with me on November 14, what is the need of proof. If you have the courage to fight against corruption then first put Sheila Dikshit in jail," said Ramdev.

He also termed the Congress as the world's most corrupt party.

Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), common man party, which emerged from an anti-corruption movement, trounced the Congress party in Delhi in recently concluded assembly polls. But the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerged as the single largest party with 32 members.

Though Congress could manage only eight seats, they agreed to give support to AAP to form government that got 28 seats in 70-member Delhi legislature. AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal was sworn-in as Delhi's Chief Minister on December 28, 2013.
