Who is Sunil Dubai?

Sunil Ramchandani, alias Sunil Dubai, who is the mastermind behind the IPL spot-fixing syndicate is an associate of Dawood Ibrahim based in Dubai.

Sunil's involvement in the betting business is traced back to early 2000s when Sharad Shetty, another Dawood man was murdered. He started his operations in Mumbai about 20 years back and he later shifted his base to Dubai.
 
He is believed to be handling a business worth over Rs 500 crore spread across Mumbai, Delhi, Dubai and Karachi.

Sunil has his family settled in London and Mumbai and he travels to Karachi for purposes related to work.

The police issued a lookout notice in his name this year after his name appeared in betting cases.
Sunil Dubai is considered as a very important man in the betting business and is regarded highly by the other Mumbai bookies.
