West Bengal: Rs 2,000 fake currency notes seized in Malda

Police today recovered fake currency notes in the face value of Rs 8000 from a house in Mohanpur village under Baisnabnagar police station of Malda district and arrested one person.

Police today recovered fake currency notes in the face value of Rs 8000 from a house in Mohanpur village under Baisnabnagar police station of Malda district and arrested one person.

Additional SP (Rural) Dipak sarkar said the police raided the house in Mohanpur on a tip off and found four fake notes of Rs 2000 denomination.

Mohanpur village is near Indo-Bangla border.
