The Bomb Disposal Squad of the West Bengal CID rushed to the Howrah station to examine the abandoned bags found on the train.

A bomb was recovered by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) from Falaknuma Express at Howrah Railway Station on Monday morning.
There was a bomb scare among passengers on the train when two abandoned bags were found in the down Falaknuma Express at the Howrah station. The bags were found in the general compartment of the train.
As news of these abandoned bags broke, the Bomb Disposal Squad of the West Bengal CID rushed to the Howrah station to examine the bags.
According to ANI, the bomb was placed in a cylinder by the Bomb Disposal Squad for a controlled explosion and taken to an isolated spot. The spot was cleared and the bomb defused.
