West Bengal Board (wbbse.org & wbresults.nic.in) 10th Madhyamik Results 2015: WBBSE Class 10th X Madhyamik Pariksha Exam Results 2015 to be announced today soon

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education will announce the results of Class 10 exam today at 10 AM. Exams for the class 10 were conducted in the month of March this year. Over 5 lakh students appeared for the exam conducted by the board all over the state of West Bengal and also in affiliates of the board located outside West Bengal, elsewhere in India.

Established in 1951 under an Act of the State Legislature called the West Bengal Secondary Education Act of 1950, board has two basic tasks to undertake - 

• To regulate, control and develop secondary education of the State.
• To conduct the School Final Examination.

Candidates who appeared for the exam this year can check their results on following websites -

• http://wbresults.nic.in/
• http://wbbse.org/ 

Students will need to provide their roll numbers to access their scorecards. The downloaded PDF copies are not authorised by the board. Hence students are advised to collect their original mark sheets from their respective institutes. 

Since the year 2011, Madhyamik examination syllabus was reduced to contain only class 10 chapters to make it easier for students who were burdened with too much content. Now the curriculum consists of two language papers, three compulsory subjects and three additional subjects with many options to choose from.
