Welcoming President Ram Nath Kovind to Bihar on Thursday, chief minister Nitish Kumar said the state was trying to promote organic farming, by building an organic farming corridor along both sides of the River Ganga flowing through the state.
“Our dream is to have at least one Bihar dish on every platter by 2022,” Nitish said and listed irrigation, seed management, power supply and connectivity as his focus areas in agro sector.
“The state has already made huge progress in the production of paddy, wheat, maize and potatoes.
