After the success of wildlife adventure movie Chander Pahar, makers of the Tollywood feature have now come up with Amazon Obhijaan, a sequel that is expected to grab more audience across all age groups. This time, the crew decided to release a grand poster, the biggest in the history of Bengali cinema.

The poster of the film Amazon Obhijaan would be about 60,800 square feet and would be unveiled on Saturday at the Mohun Bagan Grounds in Kolkata, in the presence of the lead actor and TMC MP Dev Adhikary and director of the film Kamaleshwar Mukherjee. The length of the poster is 97 m and it is an attempt by the production company SVF Entertainment Private Limited to enter into the books of records.

"The poster is even lengthier than the Big Ben, which is 96 m. The Statue of Liberty is 93 m and the Leaning Tower of Pisa is 57 m. The area beats the poster of Bahubali by about 9200 sq ft. About 80 people have been engaged in installing the poster overnight. It took about 100 hours to print the poster," said a senior official of the production company.

Dev plays the lead character, Shankar, who is on another adventure at the Amazon into the mythical city of El Dorado, the official said. While the earlier film was based on the novel of Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay, this one has been written and directed by Kamaleshwar Mukherjee. The film would release on December 22 and has been made at a cost of Rs 20 crore.
