Water shortage in THESE areas of Delhi on March 8, 9 - Check list

Water supply will be affected in many areas in the national capital region on March 8 and March 9 due to interconnection in 1000mm water main from Bawana WTP to Karala UGR.

The water supply shall be affected in the evening of March 8 and the morning of March 9, the Delhi Jal Board said in a statement.

The affected areas will be Bawana Village and surrounding colonies, Sultanpur Dabas Village, Pooth Khurd Village, Barwala Village, Majra Dabas Village, Chandpur Village, area under ward 35 Kanjhawala and ward 36 Rani Khera and their adjoining areas.

According to the release, due to the annual flushing of the Ridge Road reservoir tank, Water supply will be affected from 8th March to 9th March in Ravinder Rang Shala, CRPC Complex, Police Wireless, Old Rajinder Nagar, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, WEA areas.

The Delhi Jal Board has advised residents to store a sufficient quantity of water in advance as per their requirement to avoid any inconvenience.
