Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been sharing 3D yoga video on his Twitter account for quite some time as the date of International Yoga Day (June 21) draws closer. On Wednesday, PM Modi shared a new Yoga technique on micro-blogging website which he said will bring calm and positivity in your life.

In the animated video clip, PM Modi can be seen showcasing "Nadi Shodhan Pranayam" also known as Anulom Vilom Pranayam.

" Sharing a video on Nadi Shodhan Pranayam. Have a look and make it a part of your lives. Practising it daily will bring calm and positivity in your life. #4thYogaDay," Modi tweeted.

The 3.28-minute video explains steps to perform the Nadi Shodhan Pranayam and details its benefits.

The video explains that the breathing technique helps in purification, heals cough-related troubles and is also beneficial for heart patients.

The video is latest in the series of Yoga techniques the Prime Minister has been posting on Twitter in run-up to the Yoga Day. He had earlier shared several 3D videos explaining Pawanmuktasana, Setu Bandhasana, Shalabhasana, Ardha Chakrasana, Vajrasana, Vrikshasana, Bhujangasana among others.

This year's national programme on the International Yoga Day on June 21 will be hosted by Dehradun. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also attend the event in Uttarakhand capital.

The main Yoga Day event was held in Lucknow last year, with PM Modi sharing the stage with Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath. In 2015, PM Modi had led the participants at Rajpath in Delhi.
