Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad's son and former Bihar minister Tej Pratap Yadav had an 'embarrasing' moment when he tumbled to the ground during cycle rally in Patna on Thursday.

A video of Tej Pratap riding a bicycle in a large group has gone viral. After riding for a few minutes, Yadav zooms to the front, however, he lost his balance and fell to the ground as he was about to take a turn at the roundabout.

Yadav's aide and security men rushed to his help, but RJD leader quickly got to his feet. The RJD  leader's 'cycle yatra' was aimed at highlighting rising diesel and petrol prices.

Recently, the 28-year-old leader, who is said to have previously acted in a Bhojpuri movie, posted teasers of the upcoming flick on his Instagram account and official twitter handle.

Yadav has triggered controversies on a number of occasions in the past on account of his remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi.

Last month, soon after his marriage to the daughter of a party MLA Chandrika Rai, he had caused a flutter with a tweet wherein he had drawn an analogy from the epic Mahabharata which had given rise to speculations that he was dejected upon playing second fiddle to his kid brother and planning retirement from politics.

However, Tej Pratap Yadav later clarified that he neither wanted to give up politics nor did he nurse any grouse against Tejashwi, using the endearment kaleje ka tukda for his younger brother.
