Watch: Govt school teacher receives foot massage from students, gets suspended

A teacher from a government tribal school in Jashpur district in Chhatisgarh has gotten into trouble after a video showing students giving him a massage was leaked. 

According to the Times of India, the video  was shot around 20 days ago and it came into light after it was circulated on social media. The teacher, Anup Minj, can be seen lying on the floor and receiving foot massage from two students in a staff room with few people.

Jashpur district education officer SN Panda has said that Minj has been suspended. He said that the school is looking into the matter.

Minj has said that he was unwell and the students willingly offered to give him a massage. "I was suffering from fever and body pain. I did not force students, they did it intentionally," he said.
