Modi trashes opinion polls, targets AAP :

PM Narendra Modi addressing a rally targeted AAP on the funding issue. He alleged that AAP's list shows even Obama and Mahatma Gandhi gave money to them. He also trashed opinion polls, cautioning people not to fall for such 'lies'. He asked people to vote for stability and to undo the mistake of 16 years. He also highlighted the achievements of the central government and tried to reach out to different strata from the society. Read More 

Rahul Gandhi breaks silence on Jayanthi letter bomb:

Days after Jayanthi Natarajan accused Rahul Gandhi of interfering with her department's work, Congress Vice  President broke his silence on Wednesday. Kejriwal raises issue of EVM tampering

Aam Aadmi Party, which has been alleging that EVMs were being tampered with to favour BJP in February 7 Assembly election, today said they will urge the Election Commission to allow them to put banners outside polling booths educating the voters about the machines.

"We urge CEC to allow us to put banners outside each booth educating voters abt EVMs," AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal said on micro-blogging site Twitter. Read More 

RaviShankar Prasad slams Kejriwal

Union Minister RaviShankar Prasad slammed Kejriwal  questioning his "conspicuous silence" on AAP's "dubious" funding. He alleged that the party leader's political conduct has been completely contradictory to the standards he had set for himself.

 Ravi Shankar Prasad asked Kejriwal to answer to the queries posed to him for accepting funds from "dummy" companies which "have fictitious addresses, have common directors and no business to show and are making no profits." Read More 

Kiran Bedi gets emotional 

On the campaign trail, Kiran Bedi suddenly had a breakdown. She got emotional after being overwhelmed by the love of her party members.  Overwhelmed with the affection of people who had got tea flasks for her at the roadshow in Krishnanagar constituency from where she is contesting her maiden election, Bedi broke down and was seen wiping her tears. "I have no words for the kind of love I am getting. I will return the love to them. I will try my best to remain capable of getting their love. We will serve them with honesty," the former IPS officer said with moist eyes. Read More
