Watch: Chhattisgarh Congress MLA urges voters to 'beat up' BJP volunteers with empty liquor bottles

A viral video of Congress MLA from Chhattisgarh Ram Dayal Uike has been doing the rounds after he is heard asking voters in the state to beat up BJP volunteers and leaders with empty liquor bottles when they come seeking votes.

According to news agency ANI, Uike in the video is heard accusing the ruling BJP government of selling alcohol prices at higher rates in the state. He claimed that the money thus earned by the state government would be distributed to voters during elections to lure them.

"When they do so, beat them with the same bottles," he is heard saying.

Uike, who represents Korba seat in the state, wondered why the BJP government was doing job of contractors by selling alcohol.
