This candidate thought of a novel way to pass the police recruitment process! Falling a little short on height, a Trimbakeshwar-based youth donned a hair wig to meet the desired height of 165 cms during the selection process in Nashik.
However, he was caught when a constable got suspicious and on closer inspection, found him wearing the artificial wig.

The candidate, identified as Kisan Patil, took the step as he did not want to get barred from the selection process on account of his height.
According to police, the incident took place on Friday. The Nashik police have detained him and have registered a case against him for cheating the police personnel.
"The candidate has been barred from the recruitment process and the necessary action will be taken against him," said a police officer of Gangapur Police Station.
The recruitment process is being conducted in Nashik's Gangapur road ground since the past four days.
