Even as efforts, spearheaded by Art of Living founder and spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar to resolve Ayodhya dispute have begun, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) are gearing up to display their might in the holy city on November 24-25.

The ruling BJP has left the decision to its volunteers to participate in the RSS show in Ayodhya. The VHP has also decided to give a push to the second movement for construction of Ram temple by marking Babri Masjid demolition anniversary as per Hindu calendar instead of December 6.

While December 6 will be continue to be as the 'Vijay Diwas', the main events to mark the anniversary would be on December 18, which is Gita Jayanti, according to the Hindu calendar.

The demolition of the Babri mosque by the kar sevaks on December 6, 1992, had coincided the 'Gita Jayanti' day as per the Hindu calendar, Awadh prant pracharak Bholendra told Zee Media. Interestingly, the VHP has decided to give a clarion call to the clerics of all religions to come and offer prayers for the construction of Ram temple.

"The call will be for all, including Muslims," Bholendra said.

Sources in the RSS, however, said that the Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM), an RSS-backed outfit, has been entrusted with the responsibility of bringing Muslims during the week-long programme to pray in support of the construction of Ram temple. MRM state convenor Mehrajdhwaj Singh Chandel told Zee Media that a decision on the Muslim participation would be taken after a meeting on November 17. The saints and seers are in no mood now to give time to anyone all the more when it is not a priority issue for the court, Bholendra said and added that the build up this time will be a warning to both the PM Modi-led government at the Centre and the top court to understand the public sentiments.

The RSS prachar pramukh (Konkan region), Pramod Bapat, said: "The RSS does not consider Ram temple at Ayodhya as a political issue and believes it to be a matter of shraddha (faith)."
