Veteren journalist and former chairman of Prasar Bharati MV Kamath passed away on Thursday in Manipal in Karnataka.
Kamath, 94, in hospital for the past few days, breathed his last at around 6.30 am on Thursday.
Many renowed personalities expressed their condolences on his death on the micro-blogging site Twitter:
Deeply saddened to know of journalist MV Kamath's demise today. He was a leading nationalist voice known for his alternative perspective.
