Over 6,000 people are in action to combat the fire.

The Uttarakhand forest fire which was spread to the other states last night has reached a boarding school in Kasauli, a popular hill town in Himachal Pradesh, reports NDTV.
Fire started at the Pinegrove school in the hill town. Evacuation of the children began soon.
The fire which began in Uttarakhand has claimed seven lives and about 2,269 hectares of forest land have been destroyed.
Over 6,000 personnel were deployed to combat the fire.
