At least 13 people died after a bus carrying 24 passengers fell into a gorge near Totam village in Almora district of Uttarakhand.
According to ANI the bus was on the Ramnagar-Almora road. It is still unclear if the number of casualties will rise.

Rescue operations are underway to save the rest of the passengers.
A State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) team and District Police are conducting the rescue operations.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat expressed his condolences for the victims of accident and directed the Almora district administration to provide medical assistance to the injured.
