Uttar Pradesh: Woman trying to honey-trap man gangraped in Mathura

A 24-year-old woman, who was used as ‘honey-trap’ to recover Rs 30 lakh loan amount of a property dealer, landed her into the trap of her victims when they gang-raped her in the car, 15 kms off the Yamuna Expressway near Mathura.

The Superintendent of Police (SP) Mathura SK Singh told media that the woman was used by a Noida-based property dealer Surendra Gurjar to lay a honey-trap for a scrap dealer Salman Malik, who owed Rs 30 lakhs to him, by clicking some indecent pictures to blackmail Malik for the recovery of his loaned amount.

Gurjar had loaned Rs 10 lakh to Malik three years ago. The latter was supposed to pay 

Gurjar Rs 30 lakh with interest. The scrap dealer had given two cheqA 24-year-old woman, who was used as ‘honey-trap’ to recover Rs 30 lakh loan amount of a property dealer, landed her into the trap of her victims when they gang-raped her in the car, 15 kms off the Yamuna Expressway near Mathura.ues of Rs 10 lakh each to Gurjar but both were bounced.  Since then Gurjar was planning to get back his money by any means.

Victim’s family was known to Gurjar and he helped her get a job at a Chartered Accountants firm. She belonged to Baghpat district and was staying in a rented house in Greater Noida.

As per Gurjar’s plan, the woman was to travel in Malik’s car till Agra and click some indecent pictures to blackmail him for the recovery of his loaned amount. But Malik got suspicious and took a friend along. They took the car off Yamuna Expressway and raped the woman by turn in the car by turning the stereo on high volume. The incident occurred on Saturday last but was briefed to media by the Mathura police on Thursday evening.

After the gang rape, they left the woman on the road and sped away. The victim immediately informed the police. Her medical examination confirmed forcible penetration and injuries on her private parts confirming rape, said the police.

Initially, the victim did not name Gurjar in her FIR but when her call details were checked it was found that she talked to Gurjar more than70 times on the day of her gang rape. When confronted by cops, she narrated the entire story how she was used by Gurjar which led to her gang rape by his friends. She told the police that Gurjar had threatened to kill her younger brother if she named him in the complaint.

“We have arrested Gurjar on charges of abatement of crime. A case has been registered and police team has been formed to investigate. A team has been dispatched to arrest the gang rape accused,” said the SP Mathura.
