Uttar Pradesh: 2 dead, 2 injured after firing outside Naini Central Jail in Allahabad

Two people died and two others were injured after a  firing outside Naini Central Jail in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh.

According to Live Hindustan, the assailants were on cars and bikes and fired bullets and hurled bombs at the four people who were returning from the jail.

Chandra Gyan, who was visiting his father who is a prisoner in the Naini Central Jail, and three others were attacked as soon as they stepped out of the facility. Chandra Gyan and an elderly person died after being shot by the assailants. The two others have been taken to Swaruprani Hospital.

Chadra Gyan's father Chandra Bhan and two brothers were sentenced to jail for the murder of a Bachchu Yadav in Sherdi.

Police are on a hunt for the shooters.
