Varanasi, the VIP constituency, is looking for its MP who happens to be none other then Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The 'missing' PM Modi posters that surfaced in Varanasi also announced 'reward' for anyone who can 'locate' him.

The Uttar Pradesh government, however, sprung in action and removed the posters overnight. No one has yet claimed the responsibility for the posters.

The posters said that PM Modi was last seen in Varanasi in March during the UP Assembly elections. But since then, 'Kashi' people have not seen their leader.

According to reports, the police is looking for the culprits behind the posters. CCTV footages in many areas are being seen to find out who plastered the city walls with the posters.

The news comes days after Rahul Gandhi and his mother Sonia Gandhi's 'missing' posters were seen in Amethi and Rae Bareli last week.

According to an NDTV report, it was written in the poster that "it was released by the people of Rae Bareli" who were feeling cheated by the absence of their parliamentary representative. The posters were, however, promptly removed by Congressmen.

Sonia Gandhi has not visited her parliamentary constituency this year and Rahul has not visited his parliamentary constituency Amethi since February, when he came to canvass support for Congress candidates during the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.

The Congress President had given the campaign a miss due to ill health.

Not just PM Modi and Congress leaders, 'missing' posters of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal have also been seen in the national capital.
