The gang-rape victim also said that the police only made routine visit to her house to collect information. When she and her husband reached the police station to file an FIR, no action was taken but all the other formalities like sending the victim for medical examination was done.

The woman was raped by four men, who made unannounced visit to her house, while she was sleeping with her children. After hearing cries, her husband, who was sleeping in a makeshift room outside the house, rushed to the scene. He was assaulted by the suspects who threatened the couple with serious consequences if they told anyone about the incident.

In the midst of such drama, the victim allegedly bit off one of the suspect's ears.
