Muhammad Naved alias Usmani, the main accused in the Udhampur terror attack, wants to go back to Pakistan and kill those who sent him on a fidayeen mission, reported Hindustan Times.

Naved, who had reportedly came to India to avenge the atrocities inflicted on Kashmiris, had attacked a BSF bus on August 5 at Narsu nallah in Udhampur district, killing two troopers and injuring 11 others.

According to the HT report, the interrogation of Naved also revealed that the he might have been administered a psychotropic substance before the attack on a BSF convoy.

The investigator who spent time with Naved, has claimed that Naved has realised that his gamble with Lashkar had cost him heavily and now wants to go back to kill all those who sent him to Kashmir.

The investigator also told the daily that Naved was shown videos of atrocities committed on his Muslim brethren in India, particularly in Kashmir.

Earlier, the interrogation had thrown up some startling facts about the indoctrination and terror matrix across the other side of the Line of Control.

Naved had entered India several days before the Udhampur attack and was part of a two-member group which crossed in. He identified his associate as Momin of Bhawalpur Pakistan.

Before entering Indian border, Naved had undergone two training modules, 'Daur-e-Aam' and 'Daura-e-Khas'. While the first module teaches LeT cadre physical fitness, mountaineering and use of small arms, in the second they are trained in using assault rifles and manufacture of small explosives.

Naved comes from a rather well-to-do family. One of his brothers is said to be a lecturer while another is running a hosiery business in Faisalabad. He has one sister. Naved has himself not studied much.

He has now been shifted from Jammu to the national capital by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) . The agency had obtained a 14-day remand from a special NIA designate court in Jammu on August 10.
