Two murdered in gang war in Jharkhand

Two gang members were shot dead while another sustained severe injuries in a shoot out on Wednesday evening at Kadma Bazar, Jharkhand, police said.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Amol V Homkar said the incident was a result of a long-standing gang war between gangs led by Sushil Srivastav and his rival Bhola Pandey of Patratu in Ramgarh district.

Pandey's nephew Kishore Pandey and his bodyguard were killed by rival gang members while another one was injured seriously. The injured person, also an aide of Kishore, was admitted to Tata Main Hospital. According to police, members of the Sushil Srivastav gang followed Kishore from Patratu to Kadma Bazar.
