Two Jet Airways air hostesses allegedly molested on Mumbai-Nagpur flight

Two Jet Airways air hostesses were allegedly molested by a 23-year-old man who was in an inebriated state.

According to a report in TOI, the man, a hardware trader identified as Akash Gupta, sexually harassed the women on a Mumbai-Nagpur flight on Saturday. 

The captain then informed the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) who sent Gupta to Sonegaon police who arrested him. They have booked him under the section 354 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) which pertains to outraging of modesty. He has been sent to magisterial custody. 

Gupta was returning from a vacation in Goa. He had allegedly consumed alcohol in Mumbai.

The air hostess informed crew members who stopped Gupta, but complained to the captain after he argued with them.
