Police today booked two travel agents for allegedly duping two youths of Rs 1.60 lakh under the pretext of getting them job in Dubai.
Police said travel agents Amit Kumar and Mukesh Kumar were booked under IPC section 420 (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) on a complaint by the mothers of the youths.
Complainants Swaran Kaur and Kashmir Kaur of village Langeri, tehsil Banga, said the agents had promised to get job to their sons Sandip Kumar and Shiv Kumar, respectively, in Dubai but they did not do so.
Nor did the duo return the money, they alleged.
