Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami today wrote to a student of a primary school, who had sent him Independence Day greetings.

C Srivanth, class one student of a private school from Coimbatore, had sent a drawing of the national flag and map of India depicting the tricolor to Palaniswami, commerating the 70th Independence Day celebrations.

Responding to the boy's efforts, Palaniswami thanked him and extended his Independence Day greetings to him.

"I am happy to see the drawing of national flag and the map of the country created by you. I am very proud to see your patriotism at this young age", he said in the letter.

Palaniswami also blessed him in the letter to bring laurels for the country and to his family.
