Terrorist killed by security forces in Sopore

Security forces and militants exchanged brief firing in watergram area of North Kashmir's Sopore in which a terrorist was killed by security forces. According to reports, Indian Army's 32RR patrolling party was passing through the area when security forces and terrorists exchanged brief fire.

A senior police officer initiated that militants were hiding and when the patrolling party passed, they triggered a brief exchange of fire. In the exchange of fire, a militant was killed officer further said.

As per the sources, one pistol and three grenades were recovered from the slain terrorist, however his identity is yet to be ascertained. Security forces are searching the area to find anymore militant body. The reports of the incident are being filed.
