Ten persons, accused in Hyderabad bomb blast case, were acquitted of all charges by a local court after their innocence was proved before the law.

Md Zayed, Md Kaleem and eight others, who were held suspect in the 2005 Taskforce office bomb blast case, were acquitted by the court, thus freeing them from the clutches of 12 years imprisonment.

Although the news came as a relief to the aforementioned, Zayed revealed that his co-inmates looked down upon him as a terrorist.

''All these years, I was being treated as an ISI agent; everyone used to see me as a terrorist. Now that the court has finally delivered its judgement, I would urge that this kind of behaviour should end,'' Zayed told ANI.

Suspecting foul play on behalf of the police, Zayed urged that innocent people should not be made to suffer in jail.

''This was all pre-planned. The police delayed the case on purpose. However, we are happy to be finally acquitted,'' he said.

Defending the allegations made against the police, Kaleem, another person who was acquitted, alleged that he was not treated for his illness appropriately, as he was perceived as a terrorist, even by the doctors.

''My lungs were infected at one point, and I was in severe pain. Although the police took me to the hospital, escorts used to tell doctors that I am a terrorist, because of which they did not treat me well later. It is only after my acquittal that I was shifted to Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) to complete my treatment,'' he said.
