The nephew and two small grandsons of the Telangana Tourism Corporation chairman Pervaram Ramulu died in a car crash on the Outer Ring Road about 20 kms from Hyderabad near Kokapet.

A report in The Indian Express stated that the accident happened early on Wednesday morning. Three of Ramulu's grandsons were travelling in a Skoda car along with his nephew when the accident occurred. The car hit a milk truck and the bonnet went under the truck apparently.

The report states that Amit Pawar and Varun Pawar were killed instantly and P Gnanadev; son of Pervaram Ramulu’s brother; who was sitting in the backseat, died later at a hospital. Rahul Pawar, another grandson of Ramulu, is said to be in a critical condition in the hospital.

Eyewitnesses have reported that the car was running at a high speed while the truck was at a slower speed. The force with which the car rammed in the truck was high as the bonnet got crushed and the engine reportedly was pushed into the car front seat. The truck driver is said to be absconding.
