Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday said he will undertake a ‘Nyay Yatra’ (Justice March) from February 9 to spread the message of his father and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJF) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav.

“I have decided to start a ‘Nyay Yatra’ from Purnea district on February 9 to reach out to the people with the message of Lalu Prasad, who was framed through conspiracy and how Nitish Kumar has insulted the mandate of the people,” Tejashwi Yadav was quoted as saying by IANS.

The RJD leader said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its ally Janata Dal (United) chief Nitish Kumar conspired against Lalu to create trouble to silence him.

“I will put these facts before the people,” Tejashwi said.

“I will tell the people about the series of scams in Bihar during Nitish Kumar’s rule, including the Srijan scam, the toppers scam, and the toilet scam,” he added.

The Raghopur MLA said he will meet and interact with the people during the ‘Nyay Yatra’ to know their real grievances and difficulties and will raise issues of their concerns during the upcoming state assembly budget from February 27.

Lalu Yadav was on Wednesday convicted and sentenced to 5 years in jail by a CBI court in Ranchi in the third fodder scam case. He is already serving three-and-a-half years jail sentence in another case.
