Furthering his relentless attack on Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sushil Kumar Modi on Tuesday made a fresh "expose" in the series saying Yadav's elder son and Bihar health minister Tej Pratap Yadav was "gifted" 13 acres of land when he was around three years and eight months old.

Flashing deal related documents, Modi said, two plots of land in Muzaffarpur district - one of 9 acre 24 decimal and another of 3 acre 88 decimal (total 13 acre 12 decimal) were gifted to Tej Pratap by Rama Devi, wife of former Bihar minister Late Brij Bihari Prasad on March 23, 1992, when Tej Pratap had not even turned four.

While Bihari was a strongman turned politician known to be a close associate of Yadav and later became the energy and science and technology minister in his cabinet, Devi was then a homemaker. However, at present, Devi is BJP MP from Sheohar in Bihar.

"The property papers say that Rama Devi was happy with Tej Pratap's great service and dedication towards her and decided to gift the property to him. One would like to know what sort of service a three-year-old would have done for her to earn such gifts," Modi said, while addressing a news conference after his weekly Janata Darbar in Patna on Tuesday.

Modi, who since April 4 has made a string of "expose" against the Yadav clan over Benami properties worth over Rs 1,000 crore, had earlier alleged that former Union ministers Kanti Singh and Raghunath Jha had gifted prime properties worth crores of rupees to the RJD's first family in exchange of ministerial berths. "Why is it that all politicians want to offer their properties to Yadav and his family members?" he said.

Stepping up his attack on Yadav, Modi also advised Bihar Chief Minister and Janata Dal-United (JD-U) President Nitish Kumar to "rethink about his alliance with the RJD. "JD-U General Secretary KC Tyagi has said that their party was more comfortable in an alliance with the BJP than it is in the Mahagathbandhan today, which is the truth," he said.

Earlier on Monday, Modi had moved the Election Commission of India (ECI) seeking setting aside of Tej Pratap's election for allegedly hiding asset details in his poll affidavit filed during the Bihar assembly election 2015.
