In four separate incidents, four cases of suicide were registered on Sunday

Tamil Nadu is retaining its status as the state with the second highest number of suicides India. In separate incidents, four people committed suicide on Sunday in the city of Coimbatore.
According to news reports, a young man T Nishant, 26, took poison because he had incurable shoulder pain. Despite his family rushing him to the hospital, he passed away. In another incident, a young woman Kanimozhi, 26, consumed poison after she had a fight with her husband.
In the third suicide case, a goldsmith, Alagirisamy, 45, was reportedly extremely depressed as he had no children despite having two wives. He took cyanide and died.
A labourer who worked for daily wages was found in his home and the police have registered a case of suicide.
