Tamil film 'Kaadhal' actress Sandhya gets married at Kerala's Guruvayoor temple

Popular south Indian actress Sandhya got married to Venkat Chandrasekharan, an IT employee, in Kerala's Guruvayoor temple on Sunday morning. The actress made her debut as an actress in 2004 with Tamil film Kaadhal, for which she earned a Tamil Nadu State Film Award. 

The wedding was initially supposed to take place in Chennai. But due to the unfortunate Chennai rains, the venue was shifted to the Kerala temple. However, a grand reception has been planned in Chennai as soon as things come back to normalcy in Chennai. 

Sandhya has starred in several Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu films. She was also seen in successful movies like Alice In Wonderland (Malayalam), Dishyum (Tamil), Annavaram (Telugu) for which she won a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress. She played popular Telugu actor Pawan Kalyan's sister's role in Premiste and Annavaram.

Sandhya is expected to resume her acting career even post marriage.
