Ajay Maken alleged that questions posed to Delhi CM Kejriwal on Sunday were edited.
Drawing parallels between Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Mann ki baat' program and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's interactive session titled 'Talk to AK', Delhi Congress president Ajay Maken on Sunday said both leaders were using 'public money to propagate their own political ambitions'.
Maken also alleged that the questions posed to Kejriwal during the interactive session were edited and asked according to the Chief Minister's convenience.
"Both of them are indulging in monologue not dialogue. Even in the 'mann ki baat' it is a one sided affair, and the same was repeated by Arvind Kejriwal. Questions that came to Kejriwal were edited and filtered before putting before him, so that only convenient questions come forth," he told ANI.
"In the next edition, I have decided that I will ask a question. Let me see if I am allowed to question Kejriwal. I have my five questions which I will ask during the next edition of the program," he added.
Taking a strong exception to Kejriwal speaking on national issues during the program, Maken said, "Using Delhi tax-payer's money, Kejriwal is propagating his own his national ambition."
In the 'Talk to AK' programme, Kejriwal earlier today talked about the Delhi Government's work and initiatives taken by it.
During the interactive session, which was moderated by music composer Vishal Dadlani, Kejriwal said his government had saved taxpayer's money and stopped the 'donation' trend to get admission in schools.
The Chief Minister also highlighted subjects like 'mohalla clinic', electricity bill, compensation to farmers, hoarding of pulses.
When asked about his promise of free Wi-Fi in the national capital, Kejriwal said that the work on it was stalled due to the recent arrest of his key aide Rajendra Kumar.
Rajendra Kumar, an IAS officer who was Kejriwal's Principal Secretary, was arrested by the CBI earlier for his alleged involvement in Rs.50 crore scam.
