Speaking to ANI here, Swamy said, "The Madras High Court took the correct decision by dismissing Karti Chidambaram?s petition.
Therefore, it must undergo an investigation and the final report should be submitted by the police. Let the court decide whether there is material or not."
The BJP leader alleged that Karti and his father and former union finance minister P. Chidambaram are in collusion with each other.
"If Karti tells a lie, the CBI has the power to arrest him. He must speak the truth. This father and son are in collusion. It?s a conspiracy," he said.
Swamy further took a dig at Chidambaram, stating he 'might have' obtained his law degree by some trick.
"Chidambaram 'might have' obtained his law degree by some trick, because if he knew the law, he would have known there is a Constitution bench judgement called Shamsher Singh jugdement, which has been never overturned after 1974, and it says the total responsibility of clearing or giving approval is that of the ministers even if the bureaucrats prepare the paper," Swamy said.
"Now I have given this to the CBI and I am sure there is no escape for Chidambaram either," he added.
The Madras HC on Tuesday directed Karti Chidambaram, to approach a court in Delhi to quash the FIR lodged against him in a bribery case, involving the INX Media to avoid conflicting opinions.
The Madras HC had informed Karti that he would have to take his petition to the Delhi High Court, as the case does not come under its jurisdiction.
Karti had moved the court after the Supreme Court order asked him to appear before the CBI in New Delhi, to help the investigating agency with its probe.
Earlier this month, the Madras High Court had stayed the Look Out Circular (LOC) issued against Karti and four others.
The apex court had later said that it would review the High Court order cancelling the LOC issued by Foreigner Regional Registration Officer (FRRO).
On May 16, the CBI raided Chidambaram?s residence, along with 13 other locations in New Delhi, Gurugram, Mumbai and Chandigarh.
The raids were regarding a 2007 case, in which INX Media had allegedly paid bribes to get an FIPB approval.
An FIR was filed against Karti, Indrani Mukherjee and Peter Mukerjea, who owned the INX media.
