Delhi Police is likely to question Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar in connection to the Sunanda Pushkar murder case.

Speaking to journalists, Delhi Police chief BS Bassi said that if necessary they will question her. "We will try to gather information from her as she is a relevant person who may throw some light on the case", said BS Bassi.

According to reports, Tarar said she would cooperate with the Delhi Police in the case. However the Pak journalist said that she would not be coming to India to answer to the probe.  Tarar is rumoured to be cause of fall out between Sunanda Pushkar and Sashi Tharoor. Tarar and Pushkar even had a Twitter fight. It was only a day before Pushkar died under mysterious circumstances. The 51-year-old Sunanda was found dead in her room in the Leela Palace Hotel in the national capital on January 17, 2014.

Shashi Tharoor has already been questioned and Bassi said that if need be he will be asked again.

Tharoor, along with five people including his aides Narayan Singh and Bajrangi, were called by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) for questioning. The SIT was constituted after police brought murder charge against unknown people in connection to the case.
