national capital with the minimum temperature settling three

notches above normal.

"The minimum temperature was recorded at 8.30 AM at 29.2

degrees Celsius, three notches above normal," a MeT official

said.

Humidity level was recorded at 77 per cent.

The weatherman has predicted a partly cloudy afternoon

with possibility of light rain in few areas towards the

evening.

"The maximum temperature is expected to hover at 37

degrees Celsius," the official said.

Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were

recorded at 37 and 28.5 degrees Celsius respectively.
