Having drawn a blank in the Delhi polls, Congress sought solace in BJP's drubbing at the hands of the Arvind Kejriwal-led outfit with party leaders advising its saffron rivals at the Centre to "stop flying and come to the ground".
Special Invitee to the Congress Working Committee, Anil Shastri took to Twitter to criticise BJP.

Meanwhile, holding that it was a a "big setback for BJP", the Congress's face for Delhi polls, Ajay Maken, remarked, "Narendra Modi had said that the trend of Delhi is reflected in the nation as well. So Delhi results show that there is now anti-BJP wave in the whole country.
"BJP had also talked quite a lot about the achievements of the central government in advertisements in newspapers during the polls. It shows that people have negated that also."
