The purchase officer of real estate builder and developer Parshwanath Corporation allegedly cheated the firm by signing bills of Rs63 lakh. She was helped by the two suppliers for whom she signed the bills. An audit revealed that the material for which these bills were issued was never supplied. A complaint was filed at Naranpura police station on Friday by the company’s administration manager Chandrakant Sahay.

Parshwanath Corporation’s office is located in Harsiddha chambers near Income tax office on Ashram Road. Auditing officer Trupal Patel discovered that Priyanshi Patel, the purchase officer, Hiren Ambani, owner of Palak Traders and Lokesh Agarwal, owner of Siddhivinayak Estate, cheated the company by showing purchase of cement and other building material when in reality there was no such purchase made.

The company currently has two schemes. The first is Atlantis Park in Sughad and the other is Business Park in the same area. For both these schemes, Palak Traders supplies iron rods while Siddhivinayak traders supplies cement. Based on the bills signed by Priyanshi, payment of Rs63 lakh was made to these two companies. It has been alleged in the complaint that she is involved with the two suppliers in the fraud.
