Speeding youth rams car into 7 vehicles in Ahmedabad

A youth driving a black luxury car wreaked havoc near Sarthi hotel behind Doordarshan tower ramming into seven parked vehicles on Friday evening. However, no one was injured in the accident, which took place in the open parking of Sagar Apartment on the road from NFD circle to Vastrapur lake.

After learning of the incident, Vastrapur police rushed to the spot and lodged a case of rash driving against the driver of the black Skoda Laura car.

According to the police sources, one Raviraj Vaghela, a realtor’s son was driving the car and fled the spot immediately after the incident. Investigation by cops revealed that Vaghela suddenly lost control of the car near Sagar Apartment. He rammed his car into a parked Maruti Swift car, three motorcycles, one Activa scooter, one Tempo and an autorickshaw subsequently.

Although Vastrapur police have not identified the accused, it was learned that will appear before the police after having fled the spot earlier, to save himself from the wrath of the gathered crowd.
