Son kills his mother alleging illicit relations in Pune

Alleging illicit relations, a son killed his own mother in a fit of rage on Tuesday late night at Pimpri, the police said on Thursday.

Giving details, senior police inspector Chandrakant Sangle said, "A quarrel about the alleged relationship of the mother resulted in a murder by her son Rohit Laxman Chandane (24) from Walhekarwadi on Tuesday night at 10.45 pm. Rohit stabbed her to death in a fit of rage.

His mother Niresh Chandane died on the spot. We hospitalised her at YCM Hospital, but hospital authorities declared her dead".

"We have arrested the accused and filed a murder case against Rohit Chandane under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code," police inspector Sangale said.
