The toll in Shopian encounter has climbed to six after two more bodies were recovered from the site.
Tension has gripped the Kashmir valley after six people including two terrorists were killed in Shopian district of south Kashmir on Sunday. The Incident occurred at 8 pm when terrorists attacked the army vehicle near the Pohan village of Shopian district

.Two terrorists have been identified as Amir Ahmad Malik and Ashiq Hussain Bhat of Lashkar-e-Toiba
"Another body has been found at a distance from the last evening incident at Pohan, Shopian.Police is investigating.He has been identified as civilian Gowhar Ahmed Lone of Chitragam Shopian", said a police spokesman.
Later three more bodies were recovered from the car. Locals said three people killed were civilians while army claimed the slain were the accomplice/ overground workers of the terrorist.

Authorities have imposed restrictions in parts of Srinagar as a precautionary measure to prevent protest marches. Joint Resistance Leadership of separatists have called for Kashmir shutdown on Monday. Jammu and Kashmir government has also closed down all schools and colleges and postponed all examinations to be held on Monday. Massive deployment of security forces has been made to maintain order and prevent any escalation.
