Shocking: Stray dog spotted carrying human foetus in its mouth in UP's Saharanpur

A stray dog was spotted carrying a human foetus in its mouth in Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur district on Friday, reported Zee Media Bureau. The dog was spotted moving with the human foetus near railway station which falls under the Deoband Police Station. The unpleasant sight of a dog carrying the human foetus triggered panic among the local residents who then reported the incident to the nearby police station and the railway officials.

In order to disperse the crowd gathered to witness the incident, the railway station superintendent called the GRP officials posted there.
After some efforts, the GRP personnel took the foetus in their possession and sent it for post-mortem. Is believed that the dog must have fetched the dead foetus from a private nursing, which is located very near to the railway station. 

In past too, several incidents of stray dogs carrying a human foetus in their mouth and roaming freely in the area were reported.

The Haryana Police and the Saharanpur district administration had also carried out raids at various private nursing homes to detect cases illegal abortion.  

The local police is also believed to be carrying out an investigation to find out who dumped the human foetus in the garbage dump from where it was fetched by the dog.
