On Friday, in an exclusive interview with Zee News editor-in-chief Sudhir Chaudhary, BJP President Amit Shah spoke about a host of topics including the question of what’d happen if the BJP fell short of a majority.

When questioned what’d happen if BJP fell short of the majority, Amit Shah dismissed the suggestion that BJP would fall short. He said: “Question doesn't arise. There's no chance. I refuse to believe that we will get less votes than the Mahagatbandhan. I am definitely sure we will get majority.”

When questioned about Rahul Gandhi’s claims that Modi government ‘panicked’ by removing Alok Verma because he was going to file an FIR in Rafale deal Shah said that perhaps Gandhi needed a little ‘training’ to come up with accusations.

He said: “I don't know who makes Rahul Gandhi's accusations, pretty sure he doesn't do it himself. If he told me, I'd train him a little.”

Here are the highlights of the interview:

# If the Supreme Court has decided to hear the case in January, there is no need for an ordinance on Ram temple as of now, says Amit Shah.

# If we remember, Kapil Sibal said in court that Ram temple issue must be decided after Lok Sabha elections. Therefore, it is clear that it is the Congress party that wants the hearing in Ram temple case to be deferred, says Amit Shah.

# We will solve the Ram Mandir issue as per provisions of Constitution, says Amit Shah.

# Congress president Rahul Gandhi must explain the basis of his information on Rafale deal. If the Congress knows it all, they must become a party to the case in Supreme Court, says Amit Shah.

# We are confident that BJP will win 2019 Lok Sabha elections, says Amit Shah.

# The results of Assembly elections in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will be a combination of work done by Narendra Modi government and respective state governments, says Amit Shah.

# In Rajasthan, there will be a considerable role of ground work done by Vasundhara Raje. In Madhya Pradesh, the work done by Shivraj Singh Chouhan will play a key role, says Amit Shah.

# The parties in J&K got an indication that the Assembly would be dissolved and hence they made an attempt to mislead people, says Amit Shah.
