Markandey Katju has done it again. After opposing gay marriage and calling 90% of Indians as fool, Katju has now tweeted about how good looking females affect voting preference!!
Former SC judge Katju has said that BJP has erred by making Kiran Bedi as CM candidate. According to him, BJP would have gained more by having Shazia as CM candidate. Giving example of Croatia, he said that people vote more for beautiful faces. Giving his personal example, he said that someone like him who never vote would have voted for Shazia Ilmi.
Katju's tweets have already created a flutter in the social media.
This lady gave her an apt reply
@mkatju sir beautiful Shazia ilmi miserably lost when #AAP was at peak in spite of beautiful face & Rakhi Birla won

Someone tried to give a different twist to his tweet.
@mkatju sir you are one of the best minds ; an exceptnal persn full of wisdom. This comment is your frustration with indian voter I suppose

He is not the only person confused though

Finally with torrent of tweets hitting out at him, Katju issued a clarification. He said that the tweet was in lighter vein and should be taken in that context. He also wrote a small blog about how people are loosing their sense of humour. Well Katju may have tried to make light of the situation, but not sure if tweeps are impressed or not.
Some people objected to my last tweet. My response is : develop a sense of humour. The tweet was in lighter vein,& shud be construed as such
